It was Paolo's aspiration, to be able to use handles that are consistent with his concept of architecture as an art of hospitality. One of the first acts performed by those who enter a building is to open doors. There, the first physical contact takes place, where the building is "touched". The handle is therefore also the tactile introduction to the architecture this contact acquires great importance.
